Don't worry we'll make more.

Out of all those kitties, we have two sweet little girls left. This is Melody and Moon.

But never fear more are on the way. Due to rather poor planning on our part, but no problem, we are delighted they are here safe and sound.

Here are Lily's next batch. The boys are Mr. Fuzzypants, Mr. Fluffernutter and Mr. Cocopugs. And the girls are Jilly Boo and June Bug. These names were pilfered from my new favorite children's book; Skippyjon Jones.

Watch for more posts about Sheba's new crew! We haven't had the energy to get photos yet!

ACTION!!!

Living with a housefull of Meezers is pretty interesting, and loud.

Somebody is usually into something they shouldn't be.

King of the cat tree is a favorite game.

Watch your tummy!

Mom's just get run over and taken for granted. I

Jaz

This is Jaz. She is the first kitty we ever rescued. She was on her way to "the pound" when my co-workers and I were given a chance to save her and her sisters. I got the prettiest one.

She was not, however the best behaved one. Jaz had a mind of her own. She could open cabinets, and dresser drawers. She liked to climb Gregg's dresser and, while hanging on with one paw, throw all his boxers on the floor with the other. She preferred the dog's food. She loved ice cream and pizza, she would steal your food too. She'd climb out your arm to get to your spoon.

Jaz loved me the most, I think. She would sleep on my head and knead her claws in my scalp. We had a routine when I'd come home. She'd run to me, jump up on her hind legs and reach to be picked up. I'd rub my nose on hers and she'd lick mine. Once when we'd been gone a few days, she was so excited to see me, she bit my nose. That was interesting to explain at work the next day.

Jaz passed away yesterday. She went slowly, but peacefully. We had lots of time to hold her and remember. She had always loved having her nose rubbed, Carrie would oblige this with brightly colored markers. She was buried next to Hershey with a bright pink nose.
Bye Jazzy-you were a trip.

Chick Magnet

This is my favorite photo from the festivities surrounding Carrie and Ryan's wedding. We were at "Ryan's" Friday night for rehersal dinner and of course the kids were the main entertainment. Evan Reeves is my neice Joy's baby. We will save this picture for all eternity and harass him with it for years to come.

For Gregg's wedding pics go to his blog and click on the link.

Growing Up

This is Melody. She is Lily's Chocolate girl. She's a real sweetie and likes to be sung too. Her favorite song is "In My Heart There Rings a Melody".

Sparrow is a little lonely these days. His sister and best buddy went to her new home this week. He is the last of Myrrh's kids. He is trying now to fit in with the babies. He is getting to be a big boy and is every bit as sweet and handsome as his dad.

Corie likes helping make the bed! She likes playing with Grant too. She is very intense and will "chatter" when really excited. She is Lily's girl and as beautiful as her mom. (Sorry for the "red eye" my editing skill are not too good". She went to school with us and really loved the kids. They all passed her around and she had a great time.

Sao Fang, Sheba's boy is sleepy. I woke him up to get his picture. He is planning on going to live with two little boys in South Carolina. He's a sweet guy who likes to get in the tub when I'm done with a shower. He is not a bit afraid of water.
